Several factors influence public perception of presidential and vice-presidential candidates in the 2024 Indonesian Presidential Debate.
According to a survey by the Katadata Insight Center (KIC), the majority of respondents (69.1%) stated that the clarity of the candidates' ideas was the most influential aspect.

The KIC survey involved 1,791 respondents over 17 years old with mobile phone numbers. All respondents were assumed to represent the demographic population across Indonesia's 36 provinces.

The majority of respondents were millennials aged 27-42 (46.9%), followed by Gen Z aged 17-26 (35.7%), and Gen X aged 43-58 (14.3%).

Data collection was conducted online from December 13-15, 2023, using tSurvey's data collection platform with a non-probability sampling method.
