Granulated Sugar Prices in Traditional Markets for the March 2025-2026 Period

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 12:44 WIB, the daily granulated sugar price in traditional markets of Maluku province has not changed compared to the previous day, just like the price trend over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily granulated sugar price in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp20,15 thousand .

Meanwhile, the daily granulated sugar price in traditional markets in Maluku over the past three months has seen a 0% decrease. According to the historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily granulated sugar price in traditional markets of Maluku province is traded at Rp20,35 thousand.

The record increase in daily granulated sugar prices in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in March 2022 with an increase of 7.8%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in September 2018 with a decrease of -6.54%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine staple foods (sembako) in Maluku show that 13 commodities have decreased and eight others have increased. The sembako with decreased prices are Red Bird's Eye Chili, Low Quality II Rice, Beef, Chicken Meat, Grade 2 Beef, Rice, Garlic, Curly Red Chili, Medium-sized Garlic, Red Chili, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat and Super Quality I Rice.

6. Bird's Eye Chili per Kg Rp77,95 thousand per kg (up 2.23%)
7. Beef per Kg Rp139,9 thousand per kg (down 15.67%)
8. Chicken Meat per Kg Rp49,9 thousand per kg (down 1.96%)
9. Grade 2 Beef per Kg Rp139,9 thousand per kg (down 19.09%)
10. Rice per Kg Rp17 thousand per kg (down 0.87%)
11. Garlic per Kg Rp53,5 thousand per kg (down 8.08%)
12. Premium Quality Granulated Sugar per Kg Rp18,5 thousand per kg (unchanged)
