Beef Prices in Traditional Markets March 2025-2026 Period

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 07:45 WIB, the daily beef price in traditional markets of DKI Jakarta province has not changed compared to the previous day, nor in the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily beef price in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp134.6 thousand.

Meanwhile, the daily beef price in traditional markets in DKI Jakarta over the last three months has decreased by 2.07%. According to historical food price records from the PIHPS price panel, the daily beef price in traditional markets of DKI Jakarta province is traded at Rp140 thousand.

The record increase in daily beef prices in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in May 2020 with an increase of 8.57%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in November 2021 with a decrease of -7.23%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the price of nine staple foods (sembako) today in DKI Jakarta shows 11 commodities have decreased and 18 others have increased. The sembako with decreased prices are Chicken Meat, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Grade 2 Beef, Fresh Broiler Chicken, Cooking Oil, Beef, Medium-sized Garlic, Garlic, Medium-sized Shallots, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2 and Grade 1 Beef.

7. Medium II Quality Rice per Kg Rp15.5 thousand per kg (up 13.55%)
8. Fresh Broiler Eggs per Kg Rp27.8 thousand per kg (up 1.46%)
9. Lower I Quality Rice per Kg Rp14.95 thousand per kg (up 5.65%)
10. Red Bird's Eye Chili per Kg Rp110.95 thousand per kg (up 62.21%)
11. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 per Kg Rp21.65 thousand per kg (down 8.65%)
