The Jakarta DKI General Election Commission (KPU) has released the Initial Campaign Finance Report (LADK) for prospective members of the Regional Representative Council (DPD) in the DKI Jakarta electoral district for 2024.
Former Central Jakarta Mayor, Sylviana Murni, reported the highest campaign fund receipt, totaling Rp753.14 million as of January 7, 2024.
These funds originated from contributions of Rp670 million from fellow DPD candidates and Rp83 million from individual donors. Rp565.66 million has been used for campaign purposes, including the purchase of campaign materials and other expenses.
Before running as a DPD candidate, Sylviana Murni also contested the 2017 DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election as the running mate of Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY).
In second place is Happy Djarot, wife of the 2017 DKI Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat. Happy reported receiving Rp555 million in campaign funds.
These funds came from Rp480 million in contributions from fellow DPD candidates and Rp75 million from individual donors.
The KPU stated that Rp552.08 million has been used for the creation and production of campaign materials, installation of campaign materials, meetings, and other necessities.
