Today's Food Prices (17/3) in DKI Jakarta: Red Chili Peppers Rise, Beef Falls

Some food commodity prices in DKI Jakarta today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (March 17, 2026) at 18:01 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 6 increased and 4 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include curly red chili peppers, large red chili peppers, broiler chicken meat, shallots, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as premium packaged palm cooking oil, Honan garlic, beef rump, and bulk palm cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili pepper prices jumped the highest by Rp3,125 (5.7%) to Rp57,917 per kg. Beef rump prices fell the steepest by Rp1,305 (0.9%) to Rp144,028 per kg.
