Today's Food Prices (13/3) in DKI Jakarta: Red Chili Up, Bird's Eye Chili Down

Several food commodity prices in DKI Jakarta today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (March 13, 2026) at 18:01 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 5 increased and 5 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include curly red chili, bulk palm cooking oil, shallots, broiler chicken meat, and large red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as premium packaged palm cooking oil, beef rump, premium rice, red bird's eye chili, and Honan garlic decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili had the highest increase of Rp1,320 (2.44%) to Rp55,417 per kg. Red bird's eye chili had the sharpest decrease of Rp1,458 (1.33%) to Rp108,125 per kg.
