Today's Food Prices in DKI Jakarta on March 18: Beef Rises, Soybeans Fall

Several food commodity prices in DKI Jakarta today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (March 18, 2026) at 18:01 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 5 increased and 1 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include broiler eggs, red cayenne pepper, large red chili, curly red chili, and hindquarter beef.

Meanwhile, only imported soybeans decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Hindquarter beef had the highest increase of Rp4,472 (3.1%) to Rp148,500 per kg. Imported soybeans had the sharpest decrease of Rp500 (3.45%) to Rp14,000 per kg.
