The General Election Commission (KPU) has released an updated version of the initial campaign finance report (LADK) for political parties participating in the 2024 General Election.
Citing Antara, KPU Commissioner August Mellaz stated that the LADK reported by participating political parties is provisional and will be continuously updated.
"It will be updated again later," Mellaz said when met in Jakarta on Sunday (14/1/2024).
Based on Databoks's monitoring, at least two political parties have shown changes in their campaign funds compared to the announcement released on January 9, 2024.
Initially, PSI reported Rp2 billion in income and Rp180,000 in expenditure on January 9, 2024. After revision, PSI's income reached Rp33.05 billion and expenditure reached Rp24.13 billion on January 14, 2024.
Besides PSI, Golkar also showed changes. Initially, its income was Rp20.59 billion and expenditure was Rp8.80 billion. These figures then decreased to Rp10 billion in income and Rp4.65 billion in expenditure.
Meanwhile, PDI-P remains the political party with the largest income and expenditure. The details are Rp183.86 billion in income and Rp115.04 billion in expenditure. These figures remain unchanged from last week's release.
These campaign funds originate from each legislative candidate (caleg) of each party throughout Indonesia. Although PDI-P has the largest reported income and expenditure, at least 5 out of 580 calegs have not reported their LADK.
In its release, the KPU stated that the submission of LADK by participating political parties in the 2024 General Election and legislative candidates must be submitted by the respective parties to the KPU, provincial KPU, and district/city KPU according to their level, at the latest 14 days before the first day of the election campaign schedule, through the Campaign and Campaign Finance Information System (Sikadeka).
