KPU Provisional Count: Uya Kuya Shows Strong Performance in Jakarta II Legislative Election

Based on the preliminary real count from the General Election Commission (KPU), celebrity Uya Kuya received a significant number of votes in the legislative election (pileg) for the House of Representatives (DPR) in DKI Jakarta II electoral district.

This electoral district covers South Jakarta, Central Jakarta, and overseas voters.

As of 2 PM WIB on Friday, February 16, 2024, Uya Kuya, who was nominated by the National Mandate Party (PAN), obtained 99,275 votes.

Meanwhile, the DPR candidate with the highest number of votes in the DKI Jakarta II electoral district is Hidayat Nur Wahid from the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) with 122,456 votes.

However, this data is only compiled from 1,159 polling stations (TPS), or 11.77% of the total 9,844 TPS in the DKI Jakarta II electoral district.

The KPU will continue to gradually recapitulate the vote count results until March 20, 2024.
