Latest Food Prices in East Java: Salt Up, Buffalo Meat Down

Prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (August 28, 2025) at 13.18 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include broiler chicken meat, SPHP rice, bulk cooking oil, corn at the farmer level, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as medium rice, packaged wheat flour, frozen buffalo meat (foreign import), broiler eggs, and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Consumption salt commodities rose the highest by Rp153 (1.67%) to Rp9,315 per kg. Meanwhile, fresh buffalo meat (local) prices fell the sharpest by Rp120,000 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
