Food Prices Today, December 24, in DKI Jakarta: Soybeans Up, Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the Ministry of Trade's Food Staple Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (24/12/2025) at 14:44 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases are laying chicken eggs, red onions, imported soybeans, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, red cayenne chilies, large red chilies, and Honan garlic decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Imported soybeans recorded the highest increase of Rp100 (0.69%) to Rp14,500 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red cayenne chilies saw the deepest decrease of Rp1,750 (2.13%) to Rp80,500 per kg.
