Today's Food Prices, December 24, in Central Java: Bird's Eye Chili Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (24/12/2025) at 1:54 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 increased and 5 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices were medium rice, red bird's eye chili, and imported soybeans.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as Honan garlic, curly red chili, broiler eggs, large red chili, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili saw the highest jump of Rp759 (1.35%) to Rp57,185 per kg. The price of curly red chili dropped the deepest by Rp2,722 (6.73%) to Rp37,704 per kg.
