Food Prices Today (24/12) in Indonesia: Onion and Egg Prices Increase

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessity Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (24/12/2025) at 14:19 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 6 increased and 5 decreased.

Commodities with price increases are red onions, beef hindquarter, premium rice, Honan garlic, and broiler eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, large red chili, small red chili, curly red chili, and imported soybeans decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler eggs saw the highest increase of Rp400 (1.18%) to Rp34,200 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices dropped the most by Rp700 (1.35%) to Rp51,000 per kg.

6. Broiler Chicken: Rp41,500 per kg (down 0.24%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp39,100 per kg (up 1.03%)
8. Broiler Eggs: Rp34,200 per kg (up 1.18%)
