Current Food Prices in Jambi: Sugar and Chicken Prices Down

Food prices in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Thursday (7/11/2024) at 08.03 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, dry soybean (import), pure beef, chicken eggs, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, medium rice, simple packaged cooking oil, skipjack tuna, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices increased the most by Rp4,830 (16.01%) to Rp35,000 per kg. Iodized fine salt prices decreased the most by Rp720 (6.1%) to Rp11,080 per kg.
