Food Prices Today December 24 in Banten: Rawit Chili and Rice Prices Fall

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Market Monitoring System for Basic Necessities of the Ministry of Trade (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (12/24/2025) at 4:23 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases are large red chili, red onion, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as premium rice, Minyakita, premium packaged palm cooking oil, and red rawit chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili saw the highest increase of Rp3,000 (6.0%) to Rp53,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red rawit chili experienced the sharpest decrease of Rp1,333 (1.8%) to Rp72,667 per kg.
