Latest Food Prices in Jambi: Chicken and Egg Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Tuesday (22/10/2024) at 10.04 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, shallots, garlic bulbs, mackerel fish, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, medium rice, and red cayenne peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of broiler chicken saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp640 (1.81%) to Rp36,030 per kg. The price of red chilies decreased the most sharply, dropping by Rp990 (4.57%) to Rp20,660 per kg.
