Price of Fresh Broiler Chicken in Traditional Markets for the Period March 2025-2026

According to the latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken in traditional markets in Maluku Province is recorded at Rp42.1 thousand. This price is unchanged compared to the previous day, as is the price trend over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken in traditional markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp42.45 thousand.

Meanwhile, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken in traditional markets in Maluku over the past three months has seen a 0% decrease. Based on historical food price records from the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken in traditional markets in Maluku Province is traded at Rp42.1 thousand.

The record increase in the daily price of fresh broiler chicken in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in September 2018 with an increase of 24.03%, and the lowest decrease was also recorded in September 2018 with a decrease of -19.37%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the price of nine staple foods (sembako) today in Maluku shows that 13 commodities have decreased and eight have increased. Commodities with price decreases include Garlic, Rice, Cooking Oil, Fresh Broiler Chicken, Beef, Super I Quality Rice, Lower II Quality Rice, Red Chili, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Medium-sized Garlic, Grade 2 Beef, Curly Red Chili, and Chicken Meat.
