Today's Food Prices (March 12) in Lampung: Red Chili Prices Rise, Bird's Eye Chili Prices Fall

Several food commodity prices in Lampung today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (March 12, 2026) at 4:48 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 5 increased and 4 decreased in price.

Commodities with price increases include Honan garlic, bulk granulated sugar, curly red chili, large red chili, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as red bird's eye chili, Minyakita, shallots, and bulk palm cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili had the highest price increase of Rp2,910 (8.87%) to Rp35,731 per kg. Red bird's eye chili had the sharpest price drop of Rp1,294 (2.08%) to Rp60,789 per kg.

7. Honan Garlic: Rp33,012 per kg (up 0.22%)
8. Broiler Eggs: Rp29,106 per kg (unchanged)
9. Packaged Premium Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,667 per liter (unchanged)
10. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp17,411 per kg (up 0.19%)
