Food Prices Thursday (21/8) in West Java: Red Chili Up, Onion Down

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (21/8/2025) at 12:08 PM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include dried soybean seeds (imported), medium rice, packaged cooking oil, curly red chili, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, Minyakita, premium rice, red onion, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna prices increased the highest by Rp723 (1.96%) to Rp37,569 per kg. Red onion prices decreased the most by Rp1,023 (2.3%) to Rp43,536 per kg.
