Today's Food Price Update in West Java: Beef and Onion Prices Drop (Tuesday, January 23, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (23/1/2024) at 11:06 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, medium-grain rice, broiler chicken, iodized fine salt, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as wheat flour (bulk), pure beef, granulated sugar, dry soybean (import), and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by Rp1,850 (5.12%) to Rp37,980 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of mackerel decreased the most by Rp1,380 (3.44%) to Rp38,780 per kg.
