Today's Food Price List in Jambi: Rice, Chili, and Onion Prices Increase (Friday, December 29, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday, December 29, 2023, at 08.52 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are medium-grain rice, shallots, garlic bulbs, dry soybean (import), and red chili peppers.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, mackerel, milkfish, red chilies, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase, jumping by Rp570 (1.77%) to Rp32,700 per kg. Milkfish experienced the largest price decrease, falling by Rp3,720 (11.63%) to Rp28,280 per kg.
