Food Prices Today, January 21st in Bali: Red Chilies Increase, Onions Decrease

Prices of several food commodities in Bali today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (21/1/2026) at 16.45 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 increased and 2 decreased.

The commodities whose prices increased were large red chilies, curly red chilies, and red bird's eye chilies.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as Honan garlic and red onions decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest jump of Rp2,000 (7.41%) to Rp29,000 per kg. Red onion prices, on the other hand, experienced the deepest drop of Rp834 (2.42%) to Rp33,694 per kg.

6. Curly Red Chili: Rp29,000 per kg (up 7.41%)
7. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp28,367 per kg (stable)
8. Large Red Chili: Rp23,944 per kg (up 4.36%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,819 per liter (stable)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp18,358 per liter (stable)
11. Minyakita: Rp17,408 per liter (stable)
12. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp17,208 per kg (stable)
