Today's Food Prices January 21 in Jambi: Red Chili Up, Cayenne Pepper Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today were observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Staple Food Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (January 21, 2026) at 3:38 PM WIB, out of 15 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 3 commodities decreased.

Only large red chili commodity saw a price increase.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red cayenne pepper, curly red chili, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The large red chili commodity saw the highest increase of Rp667 (2.69%) to Rp25,500 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red cayenne pepper experienced the deepest drop of Rp1,667 (2.82%) to Rp57,500 per kg.
