Food Prices Today, January 21 in Lampung: Onions Up, Chili Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (January 21, 2026) at 02:51 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 5 commodities decreased.

Only red onions saw an increase in price.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red bird's eye chili, premium packaged palm cooking oil, broiler chicken meat, large red chili, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red onions saw the highest increase of Rp792 (2.38%) to Rp34,042 per kg. Meanwhile, red bird's eye chili prices experienced the deepest drop of Rp1,625 (3.69%) to Rp42,375 per kg.

6. Curly Red Chili: Rp32,500 per kg (unchanged)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp31,125 per kg (unchanged)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp28,229 per kg (unchanged)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,417 per liter (down 0.37%)
