Today's Food Prices (Jan 21) in Central Java: Bird's Eye Chili Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (Jan 21, 2026) at 16:16 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 6 increased and 2 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include red onion, broiler chicken meat, red bird's eye chili, broiler chicken eggs, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as Minyakita cooking oil and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili saw the highest increase of Rp1,315 (3.33%) to Rp40,815 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili experienced the deepest decrease of Rp792 (2.61%) to Rp29,500 per kg.
