Food Prices Today (21/1) in West Java: Bird's Eye Chili Prices Rise

The prices of several food ingredients in West Java today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Staple Food Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (January 21, 2026) at 3:09 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 2 commodities decreased.

Commodities with rising prices were red bird's eye chili and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili commodity surged the highest by Rp167 (0.36%) to Rp46,450 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili dropped the sharpest by Rp900 (2.5%) to Rp35,133 per kg.
