A Populi Center survey shows that Jakarta residents are satisfied with 15 out of 27 programs implemented by Anies Baswedan during his tenure as Governor of Jakarta. However, 12 programs were deemed unsatisfactory by the citizens.
“Fifteen programs received positive/good/satisfactory ratings, namely those with satisfaction levels above 60 percent,” said Populi Center researcher Dimas Ramadhan, as quoted from a press release on Wednesday (19/10).
The following are some programs during Anies Baswedan's term that were considered satisfactory:
1. Taman Maju Bersama (RPTRA): 84.2%
2. Street Lighting: 81.9%
3. Jakarta Healthy Card (KJS) Plus: 80.3%
4. Waste Management: 77%
5. Road Maintenance: 76.2%
6. JakLingko (integrated public transportation system): 75%
7. Clean Water Program: 73.8%
8. Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus: 73.5%
9. LRT Construction & Operation: 73.4%
10. Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) Construction: 71.6%
11. Revitalization of Taman Ismail Marzuki: 68.5%
12. Urban Village Development: 68%
13. Revitalization of Low-Emission Buildings/Schools: 65.5%
14. Tourism Program: 61.7%
15. Construction of Intermediate Treatment Facility (ITF) in Sunter: 61%
Meanwhile, 12 Jakarta Provincial Government programs were deemed unsatisfactory during Anies's term. “The survey ratings (for the 12 programs) were below 60%,” said Dimas.
The following are some programs during Anies Baswedan's term that were considered unsatisfactory:
1. Flood Management: 58.7%
2. Coastal Protection Wall Construction: 57.7%
3. Addition of 8 Rusun (low-cost apartment) construction sites: 57.1%
4. Benyamin Sueb Park Construction: 55.8%
5. River Naturalization: 55%
6. Tanah Abang Street Vendor Arrangement: 55%
7. Port Facility Improvement: 53.9%
8. Infiltration Wells: 53.2%
9. JakPreneur/OK-OCE (entrepreneurship program): 45.5%
10. North Jakarta Reclamation: 42.7%
11. Formula E Implementation: 42.7%
12. Zero Down Payment Housing Program: 33.3%
Populi Center also found that during the five years of Anies Baswedan's administration, the public's satisfaction with his leadership was relatively high, reaching 83.5%. “This is evident from public satisfaction with 15 out of the 27 programs mentioned. However, there are still some crucial issues such as flood management,” said Dimas.
This survey was conducted from October 9 to 16, 2022, through face-to-face interviews with 600 respondents in Jakarta. The survey method used was multistage random sampling with a margin of error of approximately 4% at a 95% confidence level.
