Local Granulated Sugar Prices in Modern Markets for the Period April 2025-2026

Citing the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 08:23 WIB, the daily local granulated sugar price in modern markets of Jambi Province has not changed compared to the previous day, just like the price developments in the last week.

As for the last month's price, the daily local granulated sugar price in modern markets has remained unchanged from the previously recorded Rp18 thousand per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily local granulated sugar price in modern markets in Jambi over the past three months has decreased by 0.55%. According to the historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily local granulated sugar price in modern markets of Jambi Province was traded at Rp18.1 thousand per kg.

The record increase in daily local granulated sugar prices in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in May 2019 with an increase of 11.66%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in August 2020 with a decrease of -13.54%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine staple foods (sembako) in Jambi show that nine commodities have decreased and three others have increased. The sembako with price decreases are Green Bird's Eye Chili, Low Quality I Rice, Bird's Eye Chili, Curly Red Chili, Red Chili, Beef, Grade 2 Beef, Shallots and Medium-sized Shallots.
