The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) reported that the number of passengers using Indonesia's integrated mass rapid transit (MRT) reached 4.09 million in January 2026.

In a written statement, the Corporate Secretary Division Head of Jakarta MRT, Rendy Primartantyo, said that during those two days, the number of users reached 135,117, an increase compared to last year's 76,106 users.

Rendy detailed that on the first day of Eid al-Fitr, Saturday (March 21, 2026), the number of Jakarta MRT customers reached 51,189. This figure was higher than the same period in 2025, which was 28,930 people.

Meanwhile, on the second day of Eid al-Fitr, Sunday (March 22, 2026), the number reached 83,928, a significant increase from last year's 47,176 people.
