2023 Data: Unemployment in Solok City Reaches 3.72%

According to the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) records, the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Solok City in December 2023 decreased by 0.18% to 3.72% compared to December 2022. Meanwhile, compared to December 2021, the open unemployment rate (OUR) also decreased from 5.15%.

Since 2006, the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Solok City has shown a downward trend in terms of numbers. Similarly, the post-Covid-19 pandemic condition since 2020 has also been followed by a decrease in the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Solok City.

Compared to other regencies/cities, the open unemployment rate (OUR) in this regency/city ranks 240th nationally. The national average open unemployment rate (OUR) in 2023 was 4.6%.

This decrease in the open unemployment rate (OUR) is reflected in the number of employed people and the number of the workforce published by BPS this year.
