Food Prices in West Sumatra Today, How Much is Red Chili?

Prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (October 19, 2025) at 08:01 AM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 9 increased and 15 decreased.

Commodities with increasing prices include fresh buffalo meat (local), curly red chili, mackerel, consumption sugar, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as medium rice, milkfish, dried soybean (imported), packaged cooking oil, and consumption salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili commodity jumped the highest by Rp11,637 (15.0%) to Rp89,200 per kg. The price of milkfish dropped the sharpest by Rp45,000 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
