Today''s Food Prices in Bali: Chili Rises, Onion Falls

The prices of several food items in Bali today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (6/9/2025) at 3:05 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include red cayenne pepper, packaged wheat flour, packaged cooking oil, garlic bulbs, and large red chilies.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as medium rice, broiler chicken meat, mackerel, bulk cooking oil, and broiler eggs decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

The price of red cayenne pepper surged the most, by Rp1,515 (5.65%) to Rp28,348 per kg. The price of mackerel, on the other hand, experienced the sharpest decrease, by Rp989 (2.55%) to Rp37,857 per kg.
