Daily Chicken Egg Prices at South Sumatra Province's Modern Markets Decreased by 0.73% in the Last Month

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of chicken eggs in modern markets in South Sumatra Province is recorded at Rp27,200 per kg. This price is unchanged compared to the previous day and the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of chicken eggs in modern markets has decreased from Rp27,400 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of chicken eggs in modern markets in South Sumatra over the last three months has fallen by 4.23%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of chicken eggs in modern markets in South Sumatra Province was traded at Rp28,400 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of chicken eggs in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in June 2022 with an increase of 52.77%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in November 2020 with a decrease of -19.25%.

The PIHPS monitoring shows that the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in South Sumatra recorded 14 commodities decreasing and seven others increasing. Basic commodities with price decreases include Green Chili, Fresh Chicken Eggs, Sugar, Rice, Chicken Eggs, Garlic, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil, Medium-sized Garlic, Red Chili, Cooking Oil, Premium Quality Sugar, Curly Red Chili, Chili, and Low-Quality Rice I.

The following are the prices of basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to price developments over the last month in South Sumatra Province:
