Food Prices Today, December 23, in DKI Jakarta: Chicken Meat Rises, Red Chili Falls

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (December 23, 2025) at 2:44 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 4 commodities rose and 4 commodities fell.

Commodities with rising prices are Honan garlic, broiler chicken eggs, broiler chicken meat, and red cayenne pepper.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili, shallots, large red chili, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The broiler chicken meat commodity surged the highest by Rp500 (1.22%) to Rp41,517 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chili fell the sharpest by Rp2,150 (3.56%) to Rp58,250 per kg.
