Today's Food Prices (23/12) in East Java: Garlic Rises, Red Chilies Drop

Prices of several food commodities in East Java today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Staple Food Price Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (23/12/2025) at 05:02 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 6 commodities decreased.

The only commodity whose price increased was Honan garlic.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili, large red chili, broiler chicken eggs, red cayenne pepper, and broiler chicken meat decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Honan garlic commodity jumped the highest by Rp50 (0.16%) to Rp31,400 per kg. As for large red chili prices, they dropped the sharpest by Rp1,182 (3.5%) to Rp32,621 per kg.

6. Large Red Chili: Rp32,621 per kg (down 3.5%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp31,400 per kg (up 0.16%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp29,652 per kg (down 0.29%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,326 per liter (stable)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp18,305 per liter (stable)
11. Minyakita (Branded Cooking Oil): Rp16,582 per liter (stable)
12. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp16,242 per kg (stable)
