Today's Food Prices, December 23, in West Sumatra: Egg Prices Rise

Prices of several foodstuffs in West Sumatra today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (23/12/2025) at 15.51 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 1 commodity decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are Honan garlic, broiler chicken eggs, and shallots.

Meanwhile, only curly red chili decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Broiler chicken eggs saw the highest increase of Rp250 (0.85%) to Rp29,736 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices experienced the deepest decrease of Rp2,185 (3.43%) to Rp61,593 per kg.
