Today's Food Prices in East Java: Sugar, Rice, and Egg Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Wednesday (12/6/2024) at 11:26 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, garlic bulbs, curly red chilies, medium rice, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, milkfish, fine iodized salt, skipjack tuna, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,290 (2.9%) to Rp45,760 per kg. Red chilies experienced the steepest price drop of Rp1,510 (4.28%) to Rp33,810 per kg.
