Latest Food Prices in West Java Region: Egg, Red Chili, and Salt Prices Decrease

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (October 28, 2025) at 08.44 AM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 19 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are packaged wheat flour, bulk wheat flour, pure beef, skipjack tuna, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, packaged cooking oil, large red chili, milkfish, and red bird's eye chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Pure beef commodity saw the highest jump of Rp2,021 (1.53%) to Rp134,167 per kg. The price of frozen buffalo meat (imported from abroad) experienced the deepest drop of Rp105,000 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
