Food Prices in D.I. Yogyakarta Tuesday (19/8), What is the Price of Onions?

Prices of several food commodities in D.I. Yogyakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (August 19, 2025) at 14:17 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 14 commodities increased and 9 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include large red chili, SPHP rice, bulk cooking oil, skipjack tuna, and Minyakita.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red cayenne pepper, consumption salt, broiler chicken meat, pure beef, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish commodities jumped the highest by Rp1,393 (3.69%) to Rp39,107 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of consumption salt dropped the sharpest by Rp597 (4.94%) to Rp11,478 per kg.
