Daily Prices of Granulated Sugar in Traditional Markets of Central Java Province Increased by 1.64% in the Last Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel's latest information, the daily price of granulated sugar in traditional markets in Central Java Province is recorded at Rp18,550. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day, and similarly, there has been no change in price over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of granulated sugar in traditional markets has increased from Rp18,250.

Meanwhile, the daily price of granulated sugar in traditional markets in Central Java over the past three months has increased by 3.63% from the previous price of Rp17,900.

The highest recorded increase in the daily price of granulated sugar in traditional markets in this province was in March 2020, with an increase of 18.56%, while the lowest decrease was recorded in July 2022, with a decrease of -15.54%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Central Java show nine commodities decreased and 21 increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are: Super I Quality Rice, Grade I Inferior Rice, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, Medium I Quality Rice, Grade 2 Beef, Medium II Quality Rice, Grade 1 Beef, Beef, and Rice.

7. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2 per Kg Rp21,300/kg (down 0.23%)
8. Chicken Meat per Kg Rp45,450/kg (up 3.18%)
