Food Prices Today (01/08) in Bali: Garlic Up, Bird's Eye Chili Down

The prices of several food items in Bali were observed to have decreased today compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessity Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (1/8/2026) at 3:15 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 4 commodities decreased.

The only commodity with a price increase was Honan garlic.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red bird's eye chili, large red chili, shallots, and curly red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Honan garlic saw the highest increase of Rp250 (0.73%) to Rp34,472 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red bird's eye chili fell the sharpest by Rp3,333 (7.23%) to Rp42,750 per kg.
