Grade 1 Beef Prices in Modern Markets for the April 2025-2026 Period

Based on the latest information from the National Strategic Food Information Center panel, the daily price of Grade 1 beef in modern markets in West Sumatra province is recorded at Rp158,95 thousand per kg. This price remained unchanged compared to the previous day and also over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily Grade 1 beef price in modern markets showed no change from the previously recorded Rp158,95 thousand per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily Grade 1 beef price in modern markets in West Sumatra over the past three months has seen a 0% decrease. According to historical food price records from the PIHPS price panel, the daily Grade 1 beef price in modern markets in West Sumatra province is traded at Rp158,95 thousand per kg.

The record increase in daily Grade 1 beef prices in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in July 2022 with an 18.06% rise, and the lowest decrease was recorded in August 2017 with a -22.81% drop.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine staple foods (sembako) today in West Sumatra show three commodities decreased and 18 others increased. The staples with price decreases are Super II Quality Rice, Premium Quality Granulated Sugar, and Super I Quality Rice.
