PT Pertamina Patra Niaga announced the price of fuel (BBM) effective April 1, 2026, applicable to all gas stations in Indonesia.
At the beginning of this month, there was no price change for all types of BBM, whether subsidized or non-subsidized.
Pertamina Patra Niaga's Corporate Secretary, Roberth MV. Dumatubun stated that the company implements the government's policy regarding BBM pricing.
In addition, Pertamina also undertakes various strategic efforts such as negotiating with suppliers and optimizing distribution, to ensure that energy availability is maintained for the public. "We also urge the public to use energy wisely according to their needs and not to be influenced by information that could trigger panic buying," said Roberth in his official statement on Tuesday (March 31, 2026).

Subsidized BBM Restrictions

"With a reasonable limit of 50 liters per vehicle, but this does not apply to public vehicles," said Airlangga at a press conference in Seoul, South Korea, as reported by Katadata, Tuesday (31/3/2026).

This is regulated in Decree No. 024/KOM/BPH.DBBM/2026 of the Head of BPH Migas. In this decree, four provisions for the use of Solar are set out as follows:

- Public motor vehicles for passenger and cargo transport with six wheels or more, a maximum of 200 liters per day for each vehicle
- Motor vehicles for public services such as ambulances, funeral vehicles, fire trucks, and garbage trucks, a maximum of 50 liters per day for each vehicle.
This rule also sets a purchase limit for Pertalite fuel, which is:
