Food Prices Wednesday (20/8) West Java Region: Salt Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today were observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (20/8/2025) at 12:08 PM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include Minyakita, packaged cooking oil, consumption salt, consumption sugar, and dried soybean (imported).

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, medium rice, corn at farmer level, skipjack tuna, and red cayenne pepper decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Consumption salt commodity increased the most by Rp299 (2.93%) to Rp10,506 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chili decreased the sharpest by Rp548 (1.47%) to Rp36,730 per kg.
