As of Saturday, July 8, 2023, 69.07 million doses of the COVID-19 booster vaccine have been administered in Indonesia. This represents 38.04% of the national vaccination target of 234.66 million doses. The daily increase in booster vaccinations nationwide yesterday was 1,537 doses.
West Java has the highest number of booster vaccine recipients nationally, with 15.51 million doses administered. Within West Java, Bogor Regency has the highest number of booster vaccine recipients with 1.6 million doses. This is followed by Bandung Regency (1.1 million doses), Bekasi City (982,140 doses), Bekasi Regency (970,570 doses), Cianjur Regency (913,370 doses), and Bandung City (901,320 doses).
East Java is second nationally with 9.45 million booster doses administered, with Surabaya City having the highest number of recipients in the province at 1.32 million doses.
Central Java is third with 8.64 million booster doses administered. This is followed by Jakarta, North Sumatra, and Banten with 5.37 million, 4.21 million, and 3.01 million booster doses administered respectively.
