The Indonesian public largely retains confidence in the government of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and Vice President Yusuf Kalla (JK), despite numerous challenges in the economy, social issues, and politics. This is reflected in a Poltracking Indonesia survey showing that 70.5 percent of respondents still trust the Jokowi-JK administration. This figure comprises 15.2 percent who strongly trust and 55.3 percent who trust the two leaders of Indonesia. This indicates high public confidence in the Jokowi-JK leadership.

Further findings from the survey reveal that 67.9 percent of the public are satisfied with the Jokowi-JK administration, while only 22.3 percent are dissatisfied. The remaining 9.8 percent did not answer/don't know. Furthermore, 68 percent of the public are satisfied with Jokowi's performance as President, and 64.8 percent are satisfied with JK's performance as Vice President.
The Poltracking survey, conducted from November 8-15, 2017, involved 2,400 respondents spread across 34 provinces, using a stratified multistage random sampling method. The survey's margin of error is +/- 2 percent, with a 95 percent confidence level.
