According to a report from the Ministry of Finance, Indonesia's State Budget (APBN) experienced a deficit of Rp54.6 trillion in January 2026, equivalent to 0.21% of the gross domestic product (GDP).

"This figure is still very manageable and within the design corridor of the 2026 APBN," said Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa at a press conference on Monday (23/2/2026).
