Today's Food Prices March 19 in South Sumatra: Rice, Chicken Meat and Beef Prices Rise

Several food commodity prices in South Sumatra today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (March 19, 2026) at 17:13 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 3 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include broiler chicken meat, Honan garlic, premium rice, beef rump, and shallots.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as large red chili, curly red chili, and red bird's eye chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken meat prices rose the most by Rp412 (1.08%) to Rp38,490 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices fell the sharpest by Rp1,052 (2.42%) to Rp42,344 per kg.
