Several names of prospective vice-presidential candidates (cawapres) have been declared. Most recently, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, the eldest son of President Joko Widodo, has been nominated as Prabowo Subianto's running mate in the 2024 Presidential Election.
This announcement was made after all the chairmen of political parties in the United Indonesia Coalition (KIM) held a meeting at Prabowo's residence on Jalan Kertanegara, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on Sunday (22/10/2023). Although already declared, this pairing has not yet registered their candidacy with the General Election Commission (KPU) to date.
In addition, two other prospective vice-presidential candidates are Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs Mahfud MD, who will be Ganjar Pranowo's running mate, and Muhaimin Iskandar, or Cak Imin, who will accompany Anies Baswedan.
Both prospective candidate pairs registered as prospective presidential and vice-presidential candidates with the KPU on Thursday (19/10/2023).
Aside from the euphoria of the declarations and registrations of these candidates, what about the assets of the prospective vice-presidential candidates, specifically their transportation?
