Kompas Research and Development's (Litbang Kompas) poll reveals differing levels of public satisfaction with the Corruption Eradication Commission's (KPK) performance in combating corruption in Indonesia.

A total of 58.6% of respondents reported satisfaction with the KPK's performance over the past year. Meanwhile, 41.3% expressed dissatisfaction, and 0.1% responded "don't know."

Litbang Kompas researchers note that this divergence of opinion indicates the anti-corruption agency's performance is not yet fully satisfactory in the public eye. Furthermore, respondents appear to doubt the KPK's maximal effort in fulfilling its duties.

The Litbang Kompas survey involved 516 randomly selected respondents using a stratified systematic sampling method across 38 Indonesian provinces.

The survey was conducted from May 20-22, 2024, via telephone interviews. The margin of error is approximately 4.32%, with a 95% confidence level, under conditions of simple random sampling.
